A life full of the Holy Spirit
|
2
|
|
[Ephesians
5:18]
Do
not get drunk on wine, which leads to debauchery. Instead, be filled with the
Spirit.
|
3
|
|
We
believe in Trinity God. The word "God of the Trinity" is the three
Gods.
That is, it refers to the Father God,
the Son Jesus, and the Holy Spirit.
|
4
|
|
The
word "all" means one.
This
is what I mean by this. God is one, but three at the same time,
and
the three Gods are one and the same.
This is a mysterious thing possible
only for Almighty God.
|
5
|
|
The
Trinity God works for us.
God
the Father created the whole world for us and made us exist.
And he still cares for this world with
His love and power.
|
6
|
|
The
Son Jesus was responsible for redeeming us from our sins.
The redeeming means that Jesus gave us
all our sins
and died on the cross so that we could
come to God.
|
7
|
|
If Jesus Christ had not redeemed us,
we would still be living as slaves of sin and be placed in a pitiful
condition where we must receive the eternal punishment of God's terrible
judgment.
|
8
|
|
After
Jesus' resurrection, he promised to go to heaven
and
send the Holy Spirit to his disciples.
And
the promise was fulfilled.
On the day of Pentecost, ten days
after Jesus ascended,
the Holy Spirit came to this earth.
|
9
|
|
Today
is the Holy Spirit's Day celebrating the coming of the Holy Spirit
on this
earth.
The
Holy Spirit who has come to this earth has always been with the children of
God who have been saved since that day.
The Holy Spirit does amazing things in us.
|
10
|
|
The
Holy Spirit helps us reach salvation.
Because
of our sin, we can never reach salvation by our own strength.
The
Holy Spirit helps us to accept Jesus as my Savior and become a child of God.
It is because the Holy Spirit has
helped us to be saved and become children of God.
|
11
|
|
The
Holy Spirit allows us to overcome sin.
Those
who are with the Holy Spirit are no longer slaves to sin.
He
will act holy according to the guidance of the Holy Spirit.
He is able to act holy because he is
under the control of the Holy Spirit.
|
12
|
|
Thus,
the fullness of the Holy Spirit is the state in which the Holy Spirit has
come to
fully control the person.
A
man who is filled with the Holy Spirit will overcome the temptation of his
sin.
He has the power to live holy as the
Holy Spirit leads.
|
13
|
|
The
Ephesians Bible tells us what kind of person the fullness of the Holy Spirit
is.
Let
us read three verses together.
¡°speaking
to one another with psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit.
Sing
and make music from your heart to the Lord, always giving thanks to God the
Father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Submit
to one another out of reverence for Christ.¡± (Eph 5:19~21)
|
14
|
|
The
first is glorifying God in spirit.
The
person who is full of the Holy Spirit likes to praise God than any other song
in the world.
He praises with others and remembers
God's grace.
|
15
|
|
Second,
we have to live a thankful life.
A
man filled with the Holy Spirit is always full of gratitude from his mouth.
There is always the ability to
appreciate all that God has done.
|
16
|
|
Third,
he raises others and respects each other.
A
person who is filled with the Holy Spirit does not act badly on others.
It raises others. He understands other
people's circumstances and cares for him.
|
17
|
|
Jesus'
willingness toward us is always filled with the Holy Spirit in our minds.
The
Holy Spirit always wants to work in us full.
When
the Holy Spirit is full in oneself, the testimony reveals praising God,
giving thanks, and
raising others.
In
the coming of the Holy Spirit Week(Pentecostal season),
I hope that you will live a life full
of the Holy Spirit and give you great joy.
