Leather Clothes and the Cross

2

[Genesis 3:21]

The LORD God made garments of skin for Adam and his wife and clothed them.

3

The garden of Eden that God presented to man was very beautiful, and the garden of Eden was full of good fruit to eat.

4

The river that started in the garden of Eden made it fertile by wetting it. These four rivers were divided into four parts, fertilizing the various lands. These four names were called Pishon, Gihon, Hiddekel(Tigris), and Euphrates.

5

There was a tree of life and a tree of good and evil in the center of the Garden of Eden. Among them, the tree of the knowledge of good and evil is the fruit which man should not eat. The first man Adam and his wife Eve lived a happy life there, serving God.

6

But with the temptation of Satan using a snake, Eve ate the fruit of the tree, which made the good and evil that God forbid. Not only to himself, but also to his husband, Adam, sin was brought into the world.

7

When they sinned, their relationship with God was completely cut off. God punished men who sinned. God gave Adam a lifetime of sweat and labor, and Eve gave birth to pain.

8

God gives one present before chasing them out of the Garden of Eden. It was to take the beast, and to prepare the leather clothes, and to clothe Adam and Eve.

9

This leather suit, given to Adam and Eve, contains a surprising and secret promise. God did not want the sinful men to perish forever. He opened the way to return to God through the secrets of this leather suit.

10

To get the animal's skin, you must kill the animal. The sacraments of the Old Testament show this process well. You have to sacrifice the blood and slaughter the beast to get the leather. This is a revelation that we can meet God again through the shedding of blood.

11

God's revelation through leathers was done precisely through Jesus. God sent Jesus to this earth to fulfill this prophecy. Jesus came to this earth through Mary's body and came down as a perfect God and perfect man.

12

Jesus declared the gospel of the kingdom in this world for three years. He preached God's love to many people. And He has made us aware that He is the Messiah.

13

But the Jews, including the chief priests, did not accept Jesus as the Messiah. Rather, they took Jesus, who was innocent, and tried unlawfully. They begged Pilate, the governor's hand, to receive Jesus crucified.

14

Jesus, an innocent person, was executed on the hills of Golgotha with a cross. Those who were there laughed at Jesus, who was crucified. The blood that was on the cross of Jesus throughout the whole body poured down to the ground.

15

Because of the tearing of Jesus' flesh and the shedding of blood, all our sins are forgiven. Jesus died on the cross for all our sins. It is the way of salvation through the blood of Jesus.

16

The beast that God himself took to clothe the sins of Adam and Eve with leather clothes was to symbolize Jesus, who will be shed for human salvation in the future. Adam and Eve had put on their leathers to show that salvation would be accomplished through the shedding of Jesus' blood in the future.

17

By the shedding of Jesus' blood, we are saved. Hebrews 9:22 says this: ¡°without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness¡±

Whenever we think of Jesus on the cross, we must not forget that the punishment Jesus has received is the punishment we should receive. Jesus, given the punishment we must receive, presented us with a new garment of ¡®righteousness¡¯!

Let us know that we have been justified by the life of Jesus and let us dress each day with Jesus' righteousness every single day. I hope that all of my friends who live a life that God is pleased with.
