God
raised the Eutychus back

[ Acts 20:9~10 ]
Seated in a window was a young man named Eutychus,
who was sinking into a deep sleep as Paul talked on and on. When he was sound
asleep, he fell to the ground from the third story and was picked up dead.
Paul went down, threw himself on the young man and put his arms around him.
¡°Don¡¯t be alarmed,¡± he said. ¡°He¡¯s alive!¡±.

Paul is a
man who has dedicated his life to preach that Jesus is the Messiah. He
preached the gospel in various places. Because of the Apostle Paul, the
gospel began to reach the ends of the land that Jesus spoke.
|

|
|
The way of
preaching the gospel was never easy. Satan greatly disliked the preaching of
the gospel, making it difficult for Paul''s work to wherever he went. He was
beaten and injustice.
|
5
|
|
God knew
all of Paul's difficulties and helped him every time. And that difficulty
gave him the opportunity to preach Jesus. The fact that he preached the
gospel to a guard who tried to commit suicide in Philippi prison proves it.

The Apostle
Paul visited a place called [Troa]. [Troa] was a long time ago where Paul saw
a Macedonian vision while he prayed. The Macedonian earnestly asked Paul to
come and preach the gospel.
¡°During the night Paul had a vision of a man of
Macedonia standing and begging him,
¡°Come over to Macedonia and
help us.¡±¡± (Ac 16:9)

Paul changed
his course in obedience to the visionary voice he had seen in prayer and
stepped into the region of Macedonia. He meets a woman named Lydia there.
Philippi's church began because of Lydia who heard Paul and believed in
Jesus. Paul came back to the [Troa] who started the Macedonian mission.

When Paul
visited, there were already many people who believed in Jesus in the area of
Troas. On Sunday, the Apostles and believers gathered together in the attic.
There are so many people who have no seats in the attic.
|

|
|
The Apostle
Paul began to preach the word of God to the believers of Troa. Paul, who had
to leave the next day, wanted to tell them as much as possible. Until late,
people were blessed by the words of God spoken by the Apostle Paul.
|
10
|
|
There was a
young man named ¡°Eutychus¡± who participated there. This young man sat at the
window and listened to what the apostle Paul said.
|
11
|
|
The narrow
attic, illuminated by lamps, was filled with many people, and the words of
the Apostle Paul continued for a long time. ¡®Eutychus¡¯ began to doze off
slowly.
|
12
|
|
He couldn't
overcome his sleepiness, fell asleep as he sat on the window and fell out of
the window. This attic was on the third floor. When people went to see
Eutychus, who fell from the third floor, was already dead.
|
13
|
|
People were
very worried because the young man named Eutychus died while they were
gathering together to worship. The apostle Paul embraced the young man,
Eutychus. ¡°do not worry. This young man is still alive.¡±
|
14
|
|
¡°Eutychus¡±,
a young man who died according to the apostle Paul, was revived. God
resurrected Eutychus. To those who gathered, God revealed his power through
Paul of righteousness.
|
15
|
|
Believers
who have seen God's power before their eyes have developed greater faith.
They went back to the attic on the third floor. Paul and the believers broke
bread and shared joy. The apostle Paul preached the word of God until dawn.
|
16
|
|
After a
bright day, the Apostle Paul left Troa. ¡°Eutychus,¡± who died and rose, strengthened
the faith of the believers who gathered there. They became more and more
convinced of God's living and Jesus' unique Messiah.
|

|
|
Satan, who
has authority on this earth, does everything to hinder the spread of the
gospel of Jesus. The death of Eutychus put the Troa believers into great
trials. But through Paul's prayer, God showed His power by saving ¡°Eutychus¡±.
Troa believers had greater faith.
Satan can
never beat us as believers in Jesus and become God's children. Because Jesus
has already overcome Satan. Therefore, you must be people with greater
courage and obedience to God's Word.
¡°I have
told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you
will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.¡±(John 16:33)
