God the Holy Spirit Helps Us

2

Bible verse : John 14:6(NIV)

But the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name,
will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you.
Romans 8:26
(NIV)
In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groans that words cannot express.

3

Who wrote the Bible we read and study, and how?
Did God himself appear and write it? Or is it written by smart and brilliant scholars? The Bible clearly records how the Bible was written.

4

Let¡¯s all read a passage from God¡¯s Word together.
¡°All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.¡± [2 Timothy 3:16-17]

5

The Bible says that all the Bible we read was written with the breath of God.
What this means is that the Bible is not a book of people's thoughts written down. This means that God filled the person who wrote the Bible with the Holy Spirit to write it. God allowed us to record the words to be conveyed to us through God the Holy Spirit.

6

When Jesus was on earth, he spoke to his disciples about God the Holy Spirit.
After Jesus ascended to heaven, he promised to send God the Holy Spirit to earth.

[And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Counselor to be with        you forever (John 14:16)]
The Comforter that Jesus promised to send to this earth is God the Holy Spirit.

7

Jesus directly said that when God the Holy Spirit comes to this earth, he will be with us forever. All of us who have been saved by believing in Jesus are blessed to have God the Holy Spirit with us for eternity.
Today, let¡¯s take a look at what the Holy Spirit does to us while he is with us.

8

The Holy Spirit comforts those who believe in and follow Jesus. God knows all the circumstances when we fall into difficult and difficult situations in our lives.
The Holy Spirit within us comforts our hearts and helps us gain new strength.

9

Paul, called the apostle to the Gentiles, suffered a lot for preaching Jesus. Apostle Paul did not waver no matter what hardships he faced and courageously preached the gospel. The secret is that the Holy Spirit was always with Paul, comforting and helping him. So Paul was able to handle the work assigned to him well.

10

The Holy Spirit lives within us from the moment we believe in Jesus and are saved. The Holy Spirit who lives within us lets us know what pleases God.
Additionally, the Holy Spirit helps us realize every day the grace given to us by the three Gods.

11

The Holy Spirit within us works for us even when we pray. When we pray to God,
He tells us what words to pray with. The Holy Spirit helps us pray correctly to God.
[In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groans that words cannot express. (Romans 8:26)]

12

Another thing the Holy Spirit does is teach us the Word. In particular, Jesus said that the Holy Spirit would help people understand the meaning of the words Jesus taught them.
[But the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you.(John 14:26)

13

When Jesus was on this earth, he taught his disciples many words.
However, the disciples did not properly understand Jesus¡¯ words at that time.
Only after the Holy Spirit came did they clearly understand the meaning of everything Jesus said. This is because the Holy Spirit helped them remember and understand the words of Jesus.

14

When we read and listen to the Word of God, there are many times when we do not realize the meaning of the Word. At that time, when we ask the Holy Spirit for help, the Holy Spirit who lives within us helps us understand those words. It is the Holy Spirit who makes us realize the true meaning of Jesus' words.

15

Lastly, the Holy Spirit helps us confess Jesus as Lord. The Holy Spirit testifies the name of Jesus within us. No one can say, ¡°Jesus is Lord¡± except through the Holy Spirit. Through the grace given by the Holy Spirit, we can confess Jesus as Lord.

16

Jesus' disciples obeyed the guidance of the Holy Spirit and lived by spreading the word to the whole world that Jesus was the only savior. Because of them, we too came to believe in Jesus. The Holy Spirit still helps God's people who have been saved through faith in Jesus live a life that testifies to the name of Jesus.

17

Today we learned together who the Holy Spirit is who is with us. He also learned about what He does in us. The Holy Spirit comforts believers through the Word of God, is with us, teaches us His Word, and helps us understand it. And the Holy Spirit is the one who allows us to properly testify about Jesus through all of this.

18

Therefore, no matter what we do, we must always seek the help of the Holy Spirit. We must do everything relying on the Holy Spirit, who is with us forever. In particular, we must seek the help of the Holy Spirit whenever we pray or whenever we listen to, read, or learn the Word of God. I hope that we all become friends who always walk with God the Holy Spirit and win every day, believing that the Holy Spirit who has come within us is always with us.
