Faith of Abram being admitted by God.
2
Abram
believed the LORD, and he credited it to him as righteousness.
[NIV] Genesis 15:6
3
Dear everybody,
what is the nickname of Abram?
Yes, It is father of faith.
There were reasons why Abram was being called with this name.
4
There was a
time Abram heard that his nephew Lot was captured and rescued him bringing
318 armies with him. Secretly he attacked them at night and rescued Lot.
5
After that happened Abram was worried that they will attack him.
Abram¡¯s heart was greatly toiled and felt lonely especially
because he didn¡¯t have a son.
6
God appeared to
Abram in his vision someday after the happening.
¡°Don¡¯t be afraid Abram. I will be your shield and give you very
great
reward so do not worry.¡±
7
Abram said to
God upon listening to God¡¯s word.
¡°God I am childless and becoming old.
There is Eliezer in our house
who is loyal to me, Eliezer will be my heir
and I will hand over all my
belongings¡±
8
Upon hearing
this words God told Abram.
¡°Eliezer will not be your heir. Man coming from your own body
will become your heir.¡±
9
God lead Abram
outside of the tent.
Abram went outside as God lead him
10
And God spoken
to Abram.
¡°Look up at the heaven. If you can count the number of the
stars, count it.
So shall your offspring be like the number of the stars.¡±
11
Abram got a
great faith while looking the stars.
¡°God who created those countless stars can give me offspring
even
I am old if he wishes to give.¡±
In his heart, Abram was able to believe those words of God
undoubtedly.
12
God saw Abram¡¯s
heart and he saw the faith believing God.
And had a big covenant on Abram.
13
¡°Abram I¡¯m the God who lead you out of Chaldean¡¯s Ur.
I lead you out to give this land of Canaan to you. I will
give this land to you.¡± Chaldean¡¯s Ur is Abram¡¯s native place.
God led Abram from that place until Canaan.
14
Abram needed
what promises can God give him.
¡°Please show me that words of God are fulfilled as
He says for me to know
evidently.
15
God heard Abram¡¯s saying and
told Abram to prepare a sacrifice.
And that night God appeared
personally and passed in the middle
of the sacrifice.
God passed in the middle of the
sacrifice like a burning torchlight.
16
This was a promise of God to
Abram that He will keep all
the promise between Abram.
And God kept all the promise with
Abram without omitting even one.
17
God was glad upon seeing Abram¡¯s
faith.Like Abram, we should also believe that God doesn¡¯t have impossibility
and he makes all things possible and live righteously at front of God and if
we do so, God will give us precious promise and fulfill them like Abram
having promised by God through his faith admitted by God.
