God¡¯s
purpose for saving me
2
So
whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.
[1 Corinthians 10:31]
3
Everything
in this world has its own purpose.
Nothing is in existence without a purpose.
4
Cars were made to be used to drive on the road
and to help move people and things as soon as possible. People buy cars at a
great cost.
5
After people buy a new car, they consider the
car precious and drive carefully so as not to scratch it. Even after an
expensive car is used for a long time, it can not carry out its purpose any
longer. Therefore, that car will be sent to the dump to be recycled.
6
An airplane is even more expensive than a car
and its purpose is to move quickly, travelling long distances safely.
7
However, if an
airplane can not fly any longer, it will be put on show to people, and then
it will eventually become a worthless piece of junk.
8
Besides,
everything made on the earth has its own purpose.
Vacuums were made
to clean, refrigerators were made to keep fresh food, and cameras were made
to capture the picture as a memory for the future.
9
All of these
things were made by human. The first car was made by a man named Ford.
The Wright
brothers made the first airplane and still today the airplane continues to be
improved for better quality.
10
Actually, God was the first one to
create.
God formed Adam out of the dust of the
ground at the very beginning.
11
And then, when Adam was sleeping, God
created Eve from one of Adam¡¯s ribs.
They were made as the first humans by
God. All of us are descendants of Adam and Eve.
12
What
was God¡¯s purpose for creating us?
We will live the best blessing life if we know
and live our purpose as God has created.
13
Let¡¯s
read the scripture again!
So
whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.
[1 Corinthians 10:31]
14
The
first purpose is that we live for the glory of God.
We should think whether God gets the glory
through whatever we do.
15
These words say that God will always be with me,
even through hard times if we live for Him; He is pleased.
16
The
Bible says in Matthew 5:16 how to give praise to God, ¡°In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may
see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven.¡±
17
If one of my friends sees my good deeds when I
do good deeds that person may think ¡°How different are people who believe in
Jesus.¡± And then those friends will praise God through my good deeds.
18
The
second purpose is to always think about how to please God.
These
words say that we should listen to God¡¯s words and obey them as a son of God.
Our life should reflect how grateful we are to
be alive.
19
Jesus joyfully shows to us how He obeyed God¡¯s
words and he showed us God¡¯s love as he died on the cross for us. Jesus
obeyed God¡¯s words until death.
20
The Apostle Paul also lived his whole life and
gave up everything for the sake of evangelizing the gospel. Although he was
beaten and imprisoned, he didn¡¯t give up and kept obeying as God¡¯s words
said.
21
Dear
friends who believe in Jesus we should live to give honor to God and to obey
His words.
Therefore,
we have to become good faithful people who will fulfill God¡¯s purposes.
