Be
careful with the wolves in sheep clothing
2
"Watch out for false prophets.
They come to you in sheep's clothing, but
inwardly they are ferocious wolves.¡±
(Matthew 7:15)
3
One day, with the shining
sunlight and cool breeze, a group of sheep were gazing on the grass.
The sheep were having a
good time with each other.
4
The shepherd gathered the
sheep and guided them.
And the sheep went where
ever they wanted.
5
While the shepherd looked
around for the sheep, he saw a bigger than usual sheep getting closer to his
flock. However he didn`t mind it because he thought it was one of his sheep.
6
Then suddenly the sheep
started to cry aloud spontaneously.
When he looked to that
place there was a wolf, he hadn¡¯t noticed coming,
which was taking one of
his sheep with it.
7
That time the shepherd
recognized that the thing that had come from the forest was not a sheep but
rather it was a wolf pretending to be a sheep.
The wolf looked like a
sheep but instead it really was a wolf.

When Jesus Christ was
still on the earth, there were many people who taught wrong things about the word
of God.
And Jesus told the disciples
that those people who interpreted the word of God wrongly are like wolves in
sheep¡¯s clothing.
9
Even now, there are many false
prophets who are like a wolf in sheep¡¯s clothing.
And especially they try
to tempt those who are like a sheep in the story.
10
They approach as if they
are good people. They use a word like sugar and honey to convince other
people to make them their slaves.
When you listen to their
words it sounds like they¡¯re all correct and righteous words.
11
But deep inside of those
people who are using good words to convince others are like Satan on the
earth and they want to make other people stay away from Jesus Christ. We call
these people ¡°heretics.¡±
12
Jesus Christ warned about
those people to his children and taught us this example to follow.
13
¡°If you want to determine
whether they are real prophets or not you should look carefully with what
fruit they bear.¡±
Jesus Christ used a metaphor
about a tree to explain this:
14
Jesus Christ continued to
speak.
¡°Do you think a thorn
bush can bear grapes?
Or do you think a thistle
can bear a fig?
15
¡°Good fruit can only come
from a good tree.¡±
¡°Grapes can only come
from a grape tree.
And a fig tree can only
bear figs and give their fruit to the people.¡±
16
A bad plant such as a
thistle or a weed has no good use for us, so at the end they will be chopped
and burned with fire.
And this means that those
who dare to speak lies about the word of God will be put in hell.
17
So you, children of God
should be aware of what you are doing and listen carefully even though you
may be still young. Sometimes you will meet false religious people like
wolves who pretend to be a sheep, if you follow them without thinking; you
will go the wrong way to be destroyed with those wolves also. So, you should
be careful to follow God¡¯s Word!
