Adam
and Eve ate the Fruit from The Tree of Good and Evil
2
[Genesis 3:6]
When the woman saw that the fruit of the tree
was good for food and pleasing to the eye, and also desirable for gaining
wisdom, she took some and ate it. She also gave some to her husband, who was
with her, and he ate it

There are lots of difficulties while living in
this World.
It would be better if we only have good and happy times,
but the world we live in is not as happy as it seems. The reason is because
sin has come to our lives.
4
At the beginning, the world was free and very different
than it is now.
The world before the first sin was very happy.
Adam and Eve, the first ones to live in this world, spent
their lives happily in the Garden of Eden, where God had created.
5
God always met with Adam and Eve.
Adam and Eve listened to His words and lived
together with Him.
They lived enjoying real happiness.
6
But by any means, Satan tried to break the happiness that
the humans were having. Satan was aware of the secret that God had promised
to Adam and Eve. That was the promise of telling them not to eat from the
fruit of the tree in the middle of the Garden of Eden.
7
Then one day, Satan tried to deceive Adam and Eve by
making them offend the words of God. Satan hid himself and went inside of a
most crafty animal, which is the serpent, and appeared to Eve.
8
Then, Satan, who had become a serpent, asked
to Eve,
¡°Did God tell you not to eat all the fruit of the
trees in this garden?¡±
The serpent was aware that God only told them not to eat
the fruit of tree in the middle of the garden, but the serpent asked that
question to deceive Eve.
9
Eve respond, ¡°No we can eat all the fruit of the trees in
this garden. But God has told us, ¡®You must
not eat the fruit from the tree that is in the middle of the garden, and you
must not even touch it, or you will die.¡¯ That is why we only can¡¯t eat the
fruit of the tree in the middle of the garden.¡±
10
Then the serpent said, ¡°You won¡¯t surely die
even if you eat that fruit. God only said that because when you eat that
fruit, you will know the good and evil and become like God.¡± The serpent
encouraged Eve by lies. Upon hearing the words of the serpent, Eve looked at
the fruit and it looked very delicious and beautiful. And like the words of
the serpent, she thought that she would be wise as God if she would eat that
fruit. Eve fell into the temptation of Satan.
11
At last, Eve took one and ate the fruit that
God had forbidden them not to eat. And then gave it to her husband Adam.
Adam and Eve ate the fruit that God had forbidden them
not to eat.
12
After eating that fruit, the two of them
recognized that they were naked.
They felt a feeling of embarrassment, which they had never
once felt before, and so they hid their bodies by leaves from a fig tree.
13
At that moment, Adam and Eve heard God calling
for them.
The thing called ¡°fear¡± had made a way into their
hearts.
So Adam and Eve hid, because they were afraid of God.
14
God asked to Adam again, ¡°Who told you about the
embarrassment of being naked? Have you eaten the fruit that I told you not to
eat?¡±
After hearing this, Adam¡¯s heart became selfish and he began
to complain to God and blame his wife.
15
¡°I ate it, because that woman whom You gave to me, give
the fruit to me.¡± He loved his wife, but he blamed his wife because he was
afraid.
16
God gave terrible punishments to Adam and Eve.
To Eve, ¡°I will greatly increase the pains in
childbearing, and you will give birth to children in pain. Your desire will
be for your husband, and he will rule over you.¡±
17
And to Adam, ¡°Because you listened to your wife and ate
the fruit which I told you not to eat. The ground will be cursed because of
you, and through painful toil you will eat of it all the days of your life. The
ground will produce thorns and thistles to you and you will eat the plants of
the field.
By the sweat of your brow you
will eat your food until you return to the ground, since from it you were
taken; for dust you are and to dust you will return."

God made garments of skin for Adam and Eve and God drove
them out of the Garden of Eden. Ever since sin has come to this world, our true
happiness has been deprived. Just like this, sins make us unfortunate. So, we
should not commit sins which are disobeying the words of God carelessly like
Adam and Eve. Instead we should become people of faith who always act by the
words of God.
