Jesus then took the loaves, gave thanks, and distributed to those who were seated as much as they wanted. He did the same with the fish.
When they had all had enough to eat, he said to his disciples, "Gather the pieces that are left over. Let nothing be wasted."
So they gathered them and filled twelve baskets with the pieces of the five barley loaves left over by those who had eaten.

Jesus Feeds the Five Thousand

2

Jesus then took the loaves, gave thanks, and distributed to those who were seated as much as they wanted. He did the same with the fish. When they had all had enough to eat, he said to his disciples, "Gather the pieces that are left over. Let nothing be wasted." So they gathered them and filled twelve baskets with the pieces of the five barley loaves left over by those who had eaten.[John 6:11~13]

3

Today Jesus Christ crosses the Galilee by boat.

The Galilee is also known as Tiberias River.

4

When people saw Jesus Christ¡¯s arrival, a large group of people gathered. They gathered to meet Jesus Christ because they saw Jesus performing a miracle of healing sick people.

5

Jesus Christ went up to the valley for others to be able to see him well. And he preached to those many people who came about the kingdom of heaven. While listening to Jesus, the people who gathered there were deeply into the words of Jesus that they didn¡¯t even notice that how much time had passed.

6

And Jesus healed each and every person who came to be healed.

And as the time passed by a lot more of people gathered.

7

Upon seeing the people who came to him to be healed Jesus felt sad. He wanted to give food to those people who forgot to eat just for the sake of listening to the words of heaven.

8

So Jesus spoke to Apostle Philip, ¡°Where can we buy loaves of bread to feed all these people who gathered here?¡±

Jesus wanted to know the faith of Philip.

9

When Philip heard this he said,¡± Jesus, even if these people will eat one bite per loaf of bread, it will cost a lot of money.¡±Philip told Jesus that it¡¯s impossible to feed all these people.

10

At that time, another Apostle Andrea, came and told Jesus,

¡°Jesus, this boy here have 5 breads and 2 fishes.

But there is no way we can feed them with just this.¡±

11

All the Apostles though that it was impossible for them to feed all these people. And the reason why they thought that was because the people gathered there were 5000 men, adding in women and children, there were about 20000 people there. The apostles couldn¡¯t find a way.

12

Jesus told the Disciples,¡± Go and tell the people to sit on the ground.¡±

The Disciples got confused but they followed his words.

13

Jesus prayed to the LORD with the 5 loaves of bread and two little fish that the little child brought.

All the people gathered there didn¡¯t understand what Jesus was doing.

14

When Jesus was done with his prayer, he gave the loaves of breads and fishes to the disciples.

¡± Now go and distribute these to the people.¡±

15

So the disciples followed the words of Jesus and they distributed the breads and fishes to the people gathered there.

The amazing thing is that even they continuously gave the bread and fishes, it continued to be remade.

16

The disciples got excited and distributed the bread and fish.

Not one person was without bread or fish. Everyone there ate breads and fishes and had as much as they wanted.

17

But the more amazing thing was that even though everyone ate the food as they pleased; there was food was left and the leftovers filled 12 baskets.

18

And when the people saw this miracle, they truly admitted that Jesus Christ was sent to earth by God. Jesus Christ whom we believe is a truly only son of living God. He is a truly living God for whom nothing is impossible.

19

Jesus Christ who fed 20000 people with 5 bread and 2 fish is our God who prays for us. Because when we believe him with all our faith he will make us honorable and use us as servants of God. So let¡¯s believe in these and become a person who has great faith.
