Jesus Reinstated Peter

2

The third time he said to him, "Simon son of John, do you love me?" Peter was hurt because Jesus asked him the third time, "Do you love me?" He said, "Lord, you know all things; you know that I love you." Jesus said, "Feed my sheep. (John 21:17)

3

After Jesus rose again, he comforted his people for forty days on the earth and gave them further instructions on what to do next.

4

One day, Jesus appeared at the Sea of Tiberias early in the morning.
Seven disciples of Jesus were catching fish there.
Even though, they tried to catch fish all night, they caught nothing.

5

Jesus said to them from a distance, "Throw your net on the right side of the boat and you will find some." After listening to his words, they obeyed and threw their net on the right side of the boat.

6

Then a surprising thing happened. When they did this, they were unable to haul the net in because of the large number of fish. Then Peter shouted, "It is the Lord."
At once, Peter jumped into the water and ran to the place where Jesus was.

7

When they arrived at the place where Jesus was, they saw a fire of burning coals there with fish on it and some bread. Jesus had prepared a meal for them.

8

After finishing breakfast, Jesus asked Peter a question. "Simon son of John, do you love me more than these?" "Yes, Lord, you know that I love you."

9

"Feed my lambs." These words meant that Peter would teach people who would believe in Jesus well and work hard for them.

10

Again Jesus said to Peter, "Simon son of John, do you truly love me?" He answered,
"Yes, Lord, you know that I love you." "Take care of my sheep."

11

The third time Jesus said to him, "Simon son of John, do you love me?"
When Peter listened to Jesus' question, his face became very disappointed.

12

Because the night when Jesus was caught occurred to Peter.
Peter said even three times that he had not known Jesus.

13

"I don't know what to say." "I don't know who Jesus is."
"If I knew Jesus, I would be punished. I never knew him."

14

Peter knew that Jesus knows everything.
"Jesus, you know all things. You know that I love you."

15

Jesus said, "Feed my sheep" and he continued to say that Peter would live as a great evangelist. Then he said to him, "Follow me."

16

Jesus knew that Peter had denied him three times out of fear but that he still loved Jesus in his heart. So Jesus came to forgive and comfort him.

17

Jesus knows how much we love Him. Even though we are weak and have many faults, Jesus sees our hearts and comes to reset and comfort our hearts. Even if we do something wrong like Peter, if we accept Jesus in our hearts, we can receive Jesus' love. I hope that you are children of faith.
