God Lifts up
Thankful People

"Give
thanks in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you in Christ
Jesus."
(1 Thessalonians 5:18)

Today is Thanksgiving Day.
A long time ago, the Israelites worshipped God who
helped them to harvest successfully with a thankful heart.
4
Then in our case, do we not need to give thanks
back because we do not harvest? I shall say that`s totally wrong, we need to think
about all the food we eat and worship him with a thankful heart because God
gave us all that we have.

God
likes those who can thank God no matter what happens to them, and He will use
them and make them victorious. Also in the Bible, those who were used to do a
great work knew how to thank God.

David, the great king of Israel was also a man of
thankfulness. He was a king who didn't forget to thank God no matter what
happened to him. The book of Psalms is full of songs and poems written by
David to praise, worship, and thank God.

Furthermore,
King David would always thank God when he won a battle.
For
example, in 1 Samuel 22:49-50[NIV] "Who sets me free from my enemies.
You exalted me above my foes; from violent men you rescued me. Therefore I
will praise you, O LORD, among the nations; I will sing praises to your
name."

David never boasted his success that he won the
battles alone. Because David had a humble mind and gave thanks to God;
therefore, this made him known as the great king of Israel and the one after
God's own heart. God blesses those who give thanks back to Him.

Solomon,
David's son was also a faithful person who thanked God.
King Solomon
worshipped God three times a year in the temple that he made to thank God. God
made thankful King Solomon a king with wealth and intelligence.

Apostle
Paul was also a thankful man.
Apostle
Paul was really happy that the Christians of the Philippians church had good
faith so he thanked God about that; ¡°I thank my God every time I remember
you. (Philippians 1:3)"
11
Apostle Paul would thank God when something good
happened to others even if it was not related to himself. God loves and takes
care of those who love others rather than those who are selfish.
12
Thessalonians which was written by Apostle Paul
tells us that God wants us to thank Him always. 1 Thessalonians 5:18[NIV]
¡°Give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you in Christ
Jesus.¡±
13
God loves and saves us unconditionally because He
wants us to live appreciatively under every circumstance.
14
I
hope you thank God whenever you speak. Every day when you wake up give thanks
to God that you have life, parents, friends, and good things. But also even
when something bad happens, thank Him still that you are a child of God who
can change those bad things into good.
15
God, who always uses those who know how to give
thanks, will use you in good ways. So be children of God whose mouths are
full of thankful words.
