Let's Pray with all of our Strength

2

[Luke 18:7]

And will not God bring about justice for his chosen ones, who cry out to him day and night?

Will he keep putting them off?

3

At one village there was a woman who lived without her husband.
At that time if a woman lived without a husband she had many disadvantages.

4

The neighbors of this woman would harass her.
Because it continued so long this woman could not take it anymore.
So she decided to tell the judge about it.

5

"Judge, please hear my difficult situation and avenge me!"
However, this judge did not listen to this woman and he was lazy so he said,
" Ok, ok. You can go back now."

6

The truth was that this judge was not a righteous man.
He worked only for the powerful people.
He disregarded the powerless and poor people.

7

However, this woman did not give up. She went to see the judge the next day begging him with this same request, "Judge, please avenge me!"

8

However, this judge still did not listen to this woman and he shouted to her.
"I already said yes now go back and wait."

9

Because the judge did not want to see her, she waited until the judge finished his work to shout her same request.

10

"Judge, please resolve my charges and avenge me!"

11

Even when the judge started his work in the morning she went to the judge and asked him to resolve her problems. The judge who was ignoring the woman started to get stressed.

12

Because the judge was so stressed he thought.
"I am not scared with God and I usually ignore people but this woman is so persistent that I can't just ignore. If I don't help her she will keep bugging me.

13

In the end this bad judge helped the woman.
He caught every person who harassed her and punished them.
Finally, the woman`s problems were solved.

14

This story was told by Jesus to his disciples about why they should pray.
"Even this bad judge granted the poor woman`s wish, will God not grant his people`s prayers? Jesus asked.

15

However when Jesus said this he also said something else important.
"God will hear his people`s prayers and resolve their problems quickly.
But I don't know if I will see anyone who prays earnestly until I come back."

16

We should be the people who pray with faith.
We are powerless and we can`t solve our problems so we must pray to God and He promises to hear us and solve our problems.

17

We don't really have any problem believing in Jesus, however in some parts of the world there are people dying because they believe in Jesus. We should earnestly pray for them that Jesus will come back. If we pray persistently Jesus will come and solve our problems. Starting from today we should pray to God that He will sent Jesus back to this world faster.
