Jesus as the main character of the Bible

[John
5:39]
You diligently study
the Scriptures because you think that by them you possess eternal life. These
are the Scriptures that testify about me,

The Bible is a book written by 40
people who have been impressed by God for 1,600 years. The Bible is divided
into the Old Testament and the New Testament.
The Old Testament consists of 39 books
and the New Testament consists of 27 books.
|
4
|
|
So who is the main character of the
Bible? The main character of the Bible is Jesus.
The New Testament and the Old
Testament are divided into Jesus.
|
5
|
|
The Old Testament is written about
Jesus who will come to this earth.
And the New Testament writes about
Jesus who came to this earth.
|
6
|
|
The Old Testament was written long
before Jesus came.
However, the contents of those Bibles
are about what happens to Jesus.
The prophets of the Old Testament
accurately describe how Jesus would come to this land and what he would do to come to this
earth and see what he would do.
|

|
|
The prophet Isaiah lived 700 years
before Jesus came.
This prophet pre-recorded that Jesus
would come to this earth through a pure virgin.
¡°Therefore the Lord himself will give
you a sign:
The virgin will be with child and will
give birth to a son, and will call him
Immanuel.¡± [Isaiah 7:14]
Jesus came to this earth through the
virgin Mary according to the prophecy of the prophet Isaiah.
|

|
|
In addition, the prophet Micah
prophesied exactly where Jesus was born.
¡°But you, Bethlehem Ephrathah, though
you are small among the clans of Judah, out of you will come for me one who
will be ruler over Israel, whose origins are from of old, from
ancient times.¡± [Micah 5:2]
Jesus was born in Bethlehem according
to the prophecy of the prophet Micah.

|
We also know that the special events
of the Old Testament are showing us about Jesus.
The Israelites complained to God when
they were living in the wilderness, and many people were dying from
serpents.
Moses raised a copper snake, which
looked like a serpent, on the pole, as God commanded it.
|
10
|
|
Moses proclaimed that all who looked
at the copper snake would be alive.
Everyone who believed the words of
Moses and looked at the copper snake woke up to a
miracle.
|
11
|
|
Those who saw the Copper snake with
faith in the saying that the Copper snake would be cured
would not die and would have survived.
This is a symbolic showing that people
who have faith in the resurrected Jesus, who died after the cross was dying,
will have eternal life without dying.
|
12
|
|
Moses also prophesied that Jesus would
come to earth in Deuteronomy.
¡°The LORD your God will raise up for
you a prophet like me from among your own brothers. You must listen to him.¡±
[Deuteronomy 18:15]
The prophet Moses spoke is Jesus, who
is to come.
|
13
|
|
The prophet Isaiah prophesied that one
would come first and prepare the way for Jesus before Jesus came to this earth.
¡°A voice of one calling: "In the
desert prepare the way for the LORD ; make straight in the wilderness a
highway for our God.¡± [Isaiah 40:3]
This person is John the Baptist in the
New Testament.
|
14
|
|
John the Baptist was sent to the earth
six months earlier than Jesus.
John the Baptist Seeing Jesus come, he
cried: ¡°Look, the Lamb of God, who takes away
the sin of the world!"
John the Baptist testified that Jesus
was the Messiah who came to this earth.
|
15
|
|
The New Testament contains many
evidence that Jesus is the Son of God.
He raised dead Lazarus, and healed
sick people.
He walked on the sea and showed
himself to be God by doing supernatural things that calmed the waves.
|
16
|
|
He also revealed the secrets of the
kingdom of heaven.
He told us exactly how we should live
to enter the kingdom of heaven.
And on the last day, Jesus came to
judge himself and told us that he will judge this world.
|
17
|
|
When Jesus was on the earth, he made
it clear that the Bible was written about Jesus Himself.
¡°You diligently study the Scriptures
because you think that by them you possess eternal life. These are the Scriptures that
testify about me,¡± [John 5:39]
|

|
|
Jesus is the protagonist of the Bible,
66 books of the Old and New Testaments.
It is clear that Jesus is the Messiah
who came to save us.
The Bible records that we know that
only Jesus, the main character of the Bible,
is the only Redeemer.
The Bible is the most precious book in
the world that records the truth that anyone who believes in Jesus and receives Him
as the Savior has eternal life.
When you strive to read the Bible
daily and learn more about Jesus, you will receive all the blessings
promised in the Bible.
