A new life in Jesus
|
2
|
|
[Colossians
3:16]
Let the word
of Christ dwell in you richly as you teach and admonish one another
with all
wisdom, and as you sing psalms, hymns and spiritual songs with gratitude
in your hearts
to God.
|
3
|
|
Do
you know the word Christian?
When we call Christians differently,
they are called 'people who believe in Jesus'.
|
4
|
|
Christians
refer to those who saved Jesus, that is, those who received the Messiah in
his heart.
God
gives eternal life gifts to those who have accepted Jesus as their Savior.
'Salvation' means to believe in Jesus
and receive eternal life as a gift from God.
|
5
|
|
Being
saved is like saying that you are born again.
Because of the death of Jesus on the
cross,
I am free from the bondage of sin and
have new life born again.
|
6
|
|
We
did not pay any costs when we were saved.
Salvation
is the gift of grace given free by God.
God has allowed us to be a citizen of
Heaven without receiving any price.
|
7
|
|
Colossians tells precisely how people
with heavenly citizenship should live in this earth.
Let's read it together. ¡°Set your minds
on things above, not on earthly things.¡±(Col 3:2)
|
8
|
|
We,
as citizens of the kingdom of heaven, follow the word of God,
saying that God in heaven should do
what pleases him.
The above is what God commanded us to
do.
|
9
|
|
The
things of the earth refer to things God does not rejoice.
Sexual
sin, evil behavior, bad thoughts, covetousness, etc.
The Bible says that those who fall
into these sins are like those who value their sins
rather than God.
|
10
|
|
The
Bible also tells us the sins we do in our lives.
Angering behavior, words or actions
that hurt other people's minds,
language that is not beautiful, and
lies.
|
11
|
|
These
actions or words should not be a heavenly citizen who is believed and saved
by Jesus.
Because
we were born again with Jesus.
This is because the Holy Spirit will
help those
who have children of God to overcome
these sins.
|
12
|
|
The
Bible also speaks well of how the child of the saved God should act.
As
you have received the love of God, you should be generous to others.
When dealing with others, you must be
kind, meek, and persevering.
|
13
|
|
You
must be someone who is good at forgiving others.
You
should try to forgive rather than get angry.
You have to be willing to forgive as
much as you can when other friends have
caused you some damage.
|
14
|
|
Why
should we live such a forgiving life?
It
is because we are the people who have received greater forgiveness.
Without
God's forgiveness, we are sinners who cannot go to heaven.
However, because God has forgiven us,
we are able to go to heaven and we
must also be able to forgive others.
|
15
|
|
We
are the people who receive the love of God without a charge.
Therefore,
we have to make each place united by the love of others.
We are called to be children of God
for peace.
|
16
|
|
God's
children are people who have a rich Word of God.
It
is a person who is eager to praise God.
He
and she always live in gratitude for everything God has given.
We must always strive to make our
words and actions glorious in God.
|
17
|
|
It
is the greatest blessing on earth that we are children of God.
We
have received eternal life without any charge.
We
are allowed to live with Jesus in heaven forever.
We, all of us who have received this
grace, will not sin,
but live as those who do good in God's
rejoicing.
