Title

1

Sodom and Gomorrah, where sin is heavy

2

[Genesis 19:3]

But he insisted so strongly that they did go with him and entered his house.

He prepared a meal for them, baking bread without yeast, and they ate.

3

God has decided to judge two cities of Sodom and Gomorrah

where sin is overflowing.

God told Abraham to judge Sodom and Gomorrah.

4

Abraham who heard this news earnestly sought God.

Abraham pleaded with God not to destroy it

if there were only ten righteous in the city.

God promised that if there were ten righteous in the city, he would not destroy it.

5

Lot of Abraham's nephew and his family lived in this city of Sodom.

On that day Lot was sitting at the gate of Sodom,

and Lot found two people passing by.

6

Lot ran to them and bowed down to the ground, saying,

"My lord, please come to my house, wash your feet, and stay overnight.

Then, why do not you get up early tomorrow morning and leave the road?"

7

But they refused. "No, we will stay tonight in the streets."

But Lot knew the wickedness of the people of the city,

and persuaded them to go to his house gently.

8

The two men went into Lot's house because of Lot's plea.

Lot roasted unleavened bread and served it. They ate the food Lot served.

9

But outside Lot's house began to get loud.

Many men in the city of Sodom gathered in front of Lot's house.

Men of all ages, from young to old.

10

They shouted at Lot for a loud voice.

"Where are those who came to you tonight? Bring them to us.

We will rape them."

They came to do evil to those who came into Lot's house.

11

Lot did his best to protect the guests who came to his house.

Lot said to them, "Brethren, do not do this bad thing."

But they did not try to listen to Lot.

12

The men who surrounded Lot's house said. "Get away from me!"

And he said,

"Let us admonish us, on the subject which came to our city as a wanderer."

"You should get better than them first."

So they pushed Lot out and tried to break the door.

13

Then two people who came to Lot's house as a guest opened the door

and dragged Lot into the house and closed the door.

Then they blinded people outside.

14

It happened in an instant.

The people gathered outside Lot's house did not see either the young or the old.

They could not find Lot's door knob.

15

The two angels who brought Lot in, told Lot.

"Are there other relatives living in this city?

Do you have son, daughter, son-in-law or any other relative?

If you do, tell him to leave this castle right now. We will destroy this city.

Jehovah heard all about the evil that is going on in this city.

So the LORD sent us to destroy this city."

16

With the help of angels,

Lot and his family could only survive in the judgment of Sodom and Gomorrah.

Lot lived in Sodom but lived a different life than them.

He treated the passing strangers well

and did a good deed to do his best to protect the guests.

17

God sent an angel to keep Lot's home in the city, the only one serving God.

And all the people of Sodom and Gomorrah, who commit evil sin,

but do not repent, are judged.

The children of God must live as children of God.

We must be someone who does what God is pleased under any circumstances.
