Do not snatch the word of truth from my mouth, for I have put my hope in your laws.

1

Children who come close to the Word of Truth

2

[Psalm 119:43]

Never take your word of truth from my mouth, for I have put my hope in your laws.

3

The Bible is the word of truth which God has given us.

It is the only truth in this world that God made a direct impression on the person He chose and recorded the Word of God which He will preach unto us without error.

4

A person who loves God is committed to learning and studying the Bible, the Word of Truth. Only through the Bible can we know who ourselves and God is. The Bible also teaches us in detail how we, as believers in God, should live.

5

The people of faith in the Bible are those who love and precious God's Word. One of these is Timothy and Apollos in the New Testament who will be introduced through today's Word.

6

First, Timothy studied and taught God's Word from earliest days. The young Timothy grew up learning the Word of God through his mother, Eunice, and grandmother Lois.

7

When Timothy became a young man, he remembered what he had learned as a child. According to the word of God, Timothy was always praised by the people around him. Timothy was always honest and not lying.

8

The great evangelist Paul the Apostle came to Lystra and met Timothy. Paul encouraged Timothy to work with him to preach the gospel. From then on, Timothy became a person who preached the Gospel with Paul.

9

Timothy later became a pastor who served church and believers well. The apostle Paul trusted Timothy as his own son. In the Bible, 1 Timothy and 2 Timothy is a letter written by Paul the Apostle himself to Timothy. Timothy, who loved the Word of God, used God for the precious work of the gospel.

10

The second person is Apollos. Apollos was an excellent man of knowledge of the Old Testament. But he did not realize that the Messiah in the Old Testament was Jesus.

11

The people who informed Apollos about Jesus were Priscilla and Aquila. He heard that the Messiah was Jesus, saying that he would come from the Old Testament from the couple, and had a full faith.

12

Having believed in Jesus and fully realized the Scriptures, Apollos worked hard in the synagogue to preach the word of God. Apologizing to the Old Testament, Apollo witnessed in the Old Testament a strong testimony that Jesus was the Messiah, thereby defeating the teaching against the gospel of the Jews.

13

Apollos did the work of communicating Jesus with the Apostle Paul. When the apostle Paul preached the gospel to the people, he taught them the word of God well. Apollos was a person who helped them to grow well as a person of faith who was saved.

14

Let's look at the childhood of Jesus, who came to this earth directly as the 'Word of God'. The Luke of the New Testament records one incident when Jesus was twelve years old. The young Jesus greeted the Passover with his parents and went up to the temple.

15

After the Passover ceremony, Jesus' parents and relatives returned home. But Jesus did not go home and remained in the temple. There he discussed the Bible with older Bible scholars.

16

Jesus, who came to this earth with the same flesh as ours, had a childhood that was not much different from ours even though he was God. However, unlike us, Jesus, who had no sin at all, showed that he was close to the Word of God, which was the word of truth. This is also a message that we young people should not leave the word of truth as Jesus.

17

We must live close to the Bible, which is the word of truth, as we believe in Jesus and live with Him as our standard. We must live by serving God according to that word. You must remember that this is the love of Jesus!

I hope that many of our friends today will love learning the Bible from an early age and that many people will teach God's Word with power, like Timothy and Apollos.
