             [Mark 8:2~3]
            ¡°I have compassion for
these people; they have already been with me three days and have nothing to
eat. If I send them home hungry, they will collapse on the way, because some
of them have come a long distance.¡±

             When
Jesus was on earth, he performed many miracles.
            People
who heard the rumors of Jesus gathered in the place where Jesus was.

   |

             Jesus
was staying in a house in a place called ¡°Tyre¡±. There, a woman came to
  Jesus.
            As
a Greek, not a Jew, she lived in the 'Syrian Phoenicia' area.

   |

   |

             The
woman asked Jesus to heal her demon-possessed daughter.
            Jesus
confirmed that the woman was a gentile woman, but she had great faith.
   |

  |
   6
   |

   |

             And
Jesus said. ¡°Go back. The ghost left your daughter.¡± At the moment Jesus said
  this,
            a
demon departed from this woman's daughter lying in her bed far away.

   |

             Jesus
left there and went to the Sea of Galilee. There people brought a sick man to
  Jesus.
            The
sick man was a man who could not hear and speak.

  |
   8
   |

   |

             Jesus
took the man to a quiet place. Then, after putting a finger in the man's ear,
            he
spit on Jesus' own hand and put his hand on the man's tongue.

   |

   |

             He
looked up to the sky, took a deep breath, and spoke to that man.
            ¡°Ephphatha!¡±
When translated, this word means ¡°open¡±.
            When
Jesus spoke, the ear of this man, whom he had not heard, opened.
            This
man's tongue, who couldn't speak, was released and he made his speech clear.

   |

             People
who heard the rumors of Jesus gathered more and more.
            The
people gathered this time stayed with Jesus without even thinking about going
  home.
            On
the third day, the food there ran out.

   |

   |

             Jesus
couldn't just let them go when they were hungry.
            ¡°It
has been 3 days since so many people have been with me.
            Some
people will fall hungry on the way if I send them back.
            There
are people from far away, so I can't just let it go.¡±
            Jesus
wanted to feed them full and send them back.
   |

  |
   12
   |

   |

             The
  disciples asked Jesus.
            ¡°Jesus,
how can you find bread to feed these people in this wilderness?¡±
            The
disciples said that they couldn't feed them full because there was no way to
  get the bread.
   |

  |
   13
   |

   |

             Jesus
asked his disciples again. ¡°How many loaves do you have left?¡±
            The
disciples told Jesus that they had only seven loaves.
            When
Jesus heard that, he told the people to sit on the ground.
   |

  |
   14
   |

   |

             And
he prayed for blessings with seven loaves in his hand.
            After
  Jesus blessed, a miracle happened.
            It
was a miracle that after the disciples handed out bread to people, bread was
  produced again.

  |
   15
   |

   |

             The
disciples had about two fish. Jesus prayed for blessing this time holding a
  fish.
            The
same miracle happened with fish: after sharing, fish will continue to be
  produced.
   |

  |
   16
   |

   |

             There
were seven baskets of bread and fish that all of the people who had gathered
  were
            satisfied
and left. The number of people who gathered there and ate bread and fish was
4,000. Jesus performed the miracle of feeding about 4,000 people with seven
  loaves and
            a
  couple of fish.

                                                             Jesus
always showed pity for those who suffer from sin.
            Jesus
miraculously healed their illness and relieved their hunger.
            And
the Lord died on the cross to solve the pain of sin.

            He
has performed a miracle that gives all who believe in Jesus
            eternal
life without pain or hunger. As those who have received this grace,
            we
must always be victorious in this earth with confidence.
