Let's keep God's Word and
put it into practice!
|
2
|
|
[Deuteronomy 6:8~9]
Tie them as symbols on your
hands and bind them on your foreheads.
Write them on the doorframes of
your houses and on your gates.

|
|
God
came down to Mount Sinai with a loud voice in the fire.
The
Israelites could not get close to God when they saw the image of God who came
in fire.
|
4
|
|
They
said to Moses. ¡°As you come near, hear everything the LORD our God is saying,
and
let us know. Then we will listen and obey.¡±
The
people were afraid of seeing a holy God and dying.
|
5
|
|
So
Moses alone stood before God. God spoke to the Israelites in a loud voice in
the fire.
God's
voice broke through the clouds and reached the people.
|
6
|
|
After
God finished speaking, he engraved it on two stone tablets.
In
the fire and clouds, God spoke directly and engraved on the stone tablets is
the
'Ten Commandments'. God gave the Ten Commandments to the
Israelites through Moses.
|
7
|
|
After
God gave the Ten Commandments, He brought the Israelites back home.
And
he spoke to the remaining Moses ¡°I will give you all commands and ordinances
and laws.
Teach
it to the people so that they may keep it in the land I give them.¡±
God
told Moses to teach the people the word of God well.
|
8
|
|
Moses
told the Israelites what God had given him.
And
he told them what kind of heart and attitude they should keep.
1)
Do not deviate to the right or to the left, and keep as God said.
2)
You must live the way God commanded you.
3)
Listen carefully to God's Word and keep it diligently.
|
9
|
|
Moses
also explained the blessings that God would give when the Israelites obeyed
God's word.
1)
If you obey God's Word, God blesses you to serve God throughout your life.
2)
God protects you so that you can live long on earth.
3)
As God has promised you, He makes all of you a great nation.
|
10
|
|
Through
Moses, God told Israel specifically how God's people should live.
In
addition, through Moses, God taught the Israelites one by one what the
attitude and attitude toward God and the Word should be.
|
11
|
|
God
first gave this word.
¡°Love
the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and
with
all your strength.¡± (Deuteronomy 6:5)
We
are a people specially loved by God, the Creator of all things.
Since
God has accepted us as His people and children with His great love,
we
must also love Him with all our heart, mind, and strength.
|
12
|
|
In
addition, God told us to keep God's Word in mind and diligently teach this
Word to
our
children. Parents with children were asked to teach the Word while sitting at
home or
lying
down.
|
13
|
|
God
commanded us to teach our children the Word even when they woke up in the
morning
and
to teach them the word of God when walking down the street.
This
means to teach your children to always be with the Word of God.
|
14
|
|
God
told us to write the word of God, tie it to the hands of our children, and
attach it to the
foreheads
so that we can always remember the word.
This
is to teach us to do even the smallest actions according to God's Word.
|
15
|
|
He
also told us to put God's word at the door so that we can see it when we
enter the house.
In
addition, the word of God was written on the pillars on both sides of the
door, and they were asked to read the word and teach children.
|
16
|
|
The
reason God emphasizes the Word to his people so much is that God's people can
only meet
God
through the Word. He taught us that the basics of God's people are to
remember God's words when sitting or lying down, when we wake up or when we
go on the road, every moment.
|
17
|
|
We,
who are saved by believing in Jesus, must focus more and more when we hear
the Word.
We
must strive to learn and understand the Bible correctly.
This
is because only when we understand the meaning and meaning of the Word
correctly
can
we live according to the Word in our lives.
The
¡°Bible Words¡±, a special gift from God to us, cannot be overemphasized.
I
hope that all of your friends who are getting to know God deeper and deeper
as you grow
closer
to the Word from childhood.
