Jesus is Alive Again
|
2
|
|
[Mark 16 : 6]
"Don't be alarmed," he said. "You are looking
for Jesus the Nazarene, who was crucified. He has risen! He is not here. See
the place where they laid him.
|

|
|
Jesus
dictated all our sins and died on the cross on Golgotha Hill.
Joseph
of Arimathea went to Pilate and asked for the body of Jesus.
Pilate
allowed it to do so.
|
4
|
|
Joseph
of Arimathea took the body of Jesus off the cross and wrapped it in a prepared
linen
cloth. And he buried Jesus in the newly prepared tomb.
Mary
Magdalene and two Marys were looking at the tomb of Jesus.
|
5
|
|
Religious
leaders thought that Jesus' disciples would steal the body and claim that
Jesus
was resurrected. So, the tomb where Jesus was buried was blocked with a large
stone
and
soldiers were built so that no one could access it to secure the tomb.
|
6
|
|
It
was dawn on the third day since Jesus died. Mary Magdalene, another Mary,
and
Salome prepared spices for Jesus' body and went to the tomb.
|
7
|
|
The
women went, wondering how to remove the large stone in front of the tomb,
but
the women who arrived in front of the tomb were surprised.
This
is because the rock that was blocking the front of the tomb had already been
moved.
|
8
|
|
The
women hurriedly entered the tomb. Jesus' body was not seen where Jesus lay.
There
sat a young man dressed in white, an angel.
The
women who saw the angel were very scared at the moment.
|
9
|
|
The
angel said to the women. ¡°Don't be surprised. You are looking for Jesus of
Nazareth,
who
died on the cross. He is alive again. Look. This is where Jesus lay.¡±
The
angel told them that Jesus, who died on the cross, had risen again three days
ago.
|
10
|
|
The
angel continued to talk to them. ¡°Now, you go to the disciples and to Peter
and speak.
Jesus
went to Galilee before you. If you go there, you can see Jesus again.
¡°The
angel told the women to go to the disciples and tell them that Jesus was resurrected.
|
11
|
|
The
women who came there to put perfume on the body of Jesus, who died,
were
terrified of the situation that had unfolded before their eyes there.
The
women escaped as if they were just running away.
These
women became the first to hear the news of Jesus' resurrection.
|
12
|
|
Jesus
rose again at dawn on the third day after he died on the cross.
Jesus,
who is God, was resurrected after defeating the power of his death.
No
power of death could put Jesus in the place of death.
|
13
|
|
Jesus,
who overcame death and rose again into the flesh, showed people that
He
Himself was resurrected. First of all, Jesus showed it to Mary Magdalene,
who
cast out the seven demons.
Mary
met Jesus and she believed that Jesus was her resurrection.
|
14
|
|
Mary
Magdalene, who met the resurrected Jesus, ran to the disciples.
The
disciples were weeping sadly, thinking of Jesus, who died on the cross.
¡°Jesus
has risen. I saw with my own eyes the resurrected Jesus.¡±
Mary
testified of the Jesus she had met.
But
Jesus' disciples did not believe that Jesus was resurrected.
|
15
|
|
Jesus
also appeared to the two disciples going to Emmaus.
The
two disciples, who met the resurrected Jesus, returned to Jerusalem by
turning back
on
their way. They told the disciples that Jesus was resurrected, but the
disciples still
did
not believe.
|
16
|
|
The
resurrected Jesus appeared at the place where the eleven disciples were
eating.
The
disciples who met Jesus in person believed in Jesus' resurrection and gave
glory to God.
Jesus
rebuked his disciples for not having faith in the resurrection.
They
were scolded by Jesus because they did not believe in the resurrection of
Jesus that
Mary
Magdalene told them, and did not believe in the resurrection that the two
disciples who
returned
from Emmaus.
|
17
|
|
We did not see the risen Jesus firsthand.
If you don't believe because you haven't seen it,
it's because you don't have faith like the
disciples. Jesus said that those who believe in
Jesus' resurrection without seeing are
truly blessed.
[John 20:29] Then Jesus told him,
"Because you have seen me, you have believed;
blessed are those who have not seen and yet have
believed."
Only those who have received God's grace can believe in the resurrection
without seeing.
If
you have faith in the resurrection, you should value it above all else.
Furthermore,
you must be a person who does your best to convey the resurrection of Jesus to
others.
