Jesus as the Gift
|
2
|

|
[Ephesians 2:8]
¡°For it is
by grace you have been saved,
through faith--and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God--¡±

Today is a Merry Christmas. The word Nativity means
the birth of a holy or great person.
So this
means the day the great King Jesus was born.
|

|

|
Various
traditions have emerged to celebrate Christmas meaningfully in countries that
have believed in Jesus for a long time. One of them is making Christmas trees
in churches and homes to celebrate Christmas. Decorate the Christmas tree
with the whole family looking forward to Christmas with one heart.
|
5
|

|
Another
tradition is to share gifts with family and loved ones. Families prepare
gifts for each other under the Christmas tree.
Kids like you look forward to opening it, looking
forward to seeing what the gift will be inside.
|

|

|
You would
be very happy if you got the gift I wanted on Christmas Day.
But just
imagine that you received a gift that was much better than you expected. It
will make you feel as if you are flying in the sky.
|
7
|

|
However,
the size and value of gifts received on Christmas are not the same.
Some
friends want to receive gifts that others consider insignificant. And we have
friends around us who can't even expect a Christmas present.
|

|

|
By the
way, there is a gift from God to everyone in the world on Christmas Day.
God has
sent for us a gift that cannot be compared with the most expensive gift in
the world.
God has
sent the same gift to everyone in this world.
|

|

|
God has
prepared for a long time to give Christmas gifts to everyone.
The first
humans,
Adam and
Eve, sinned and were expelled from the Garden of Eden.
Man has
fallen into the unfortunate situation where he can no longer meet with God.
From that moment on, God planned a gift to send on Christmas Day.
|

|

|
In the
Old Testament times, God spoke about the gifts God would send through various
prophets. Through the prophet Isaiah, God promised that he would send a gift
from God through a virgin. Through the prophet Micah, he promised that he
would send the gift to the town of Bethlehem.
|

|

|
The time has come for God to give a gift to
mankind.
The
angels informed the shepherds that God had given the earth a gift.
A great
star appeared in the sky, indicating that God had given this earth a great
gift.
|
12
|

|
God sent the
gift of God prepared for all mankind to Bethlehem in Judea.
God's gift to mankind was born in a stable in
Bethlehem. That very gift is Jesus,
who came to earth through the body of a virgin
Mary.
|

|

|
God sent Jesus as a gift to save us. Jesus, who
came as the main character of Christmas,
is the
greatest gift that everyone in this world has received.
God has
made it possible for people to gain eternal life and go to heaven if they
have faith in Jesus, the Christmas gift.
|
14
|

|
The
recipient of this gift is not discriminated against in any way.
It
doesn't matter where people live or what environment they are in.
As long
as those people accept Jesus, whom God has given as a Christmas gift, they will
receive the same gift of eternal life and a ticket to heaven.
|
15
|

|
The most
unfortunate people in this world are those who did not receive Jesus as a
gift.
No matter how good a gift people receive, it is of
no use if they do not receive Jesus as a gift.
Even if he did not receive any gifts, if he
received salvation as a gift through faith in Jesus,
he received the most precious and precious gift.
|
16
|

|
Christmas is
the day when God sent His only begotten Son, Jesus, the most cherished and
precious, as a gift to us. We received that great gift free of charge.
It will also be meaningful to put the love we have
received on Christmas Day.
Giving others the precious things you have will be
one of the ways to spend Christmas beautifully.
|
17
|

|
It is
Christmas when God sent Jesus, the greatest gift, to this earth.
I hope that it will be a day to be thankful for
once again thinking about how valuable the gift of salvation I received is
great. Also,
I hope that it will be a day when we vow to emulate
the love of God who generously sent his only begotten Son, Jesus, for us.
God will be greatly pleased if we practice small
acts of love as the Holy Spirit moves our hearts.
