The Miracle of Love for the Little One

2

¡°The King will reply, ¡®Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of

the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.¡¯

(Matthew 25:40)

3

We who have believed in Jesus and become children of God are waiting for Jesus to come again. Jesus himself said that no one but God knows when Jesus will come again.
[No one knows about that day or hour, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father. (Matthew 24:36)]

4

We don't know when Jesus will come again, but one thing that is certain is that Jesus will definitely come again. Jesus said that on the day he comes to this earth the second time, he will come in a completely different form from when he first came to this earth in a human body.

5

Jesus will come down to earth with all the angels. When he first came to this earth, he came in a manger, but on the day he returns, he will sit on the throne of a glorious and high king and come in the form of a king who will judge.

6

On that day, all the people of this world will gather before the throne of Jesus to be judged. Jesus divides those gathered into two groups, just as a shepherd divides the sheep from the goats. People stand to the right and to the left of Jesus.
Jesus rewards and punishes them for what they have done in the world.

7

First, Jesus said that great praise and rewards would be given to those on the right.
[You who have been blessed by my Father, come and inherit the kingdom God prepared for you from the creation of the world]

Jesus announces to those standing on the right that they will enter the eternal kingdom prepared by God.

8

Next, Jesus also explained why they are worthy to enter the kingdom of God.
¡°You gave me food when I was hungry, and you gave me something to drink when I was thirsty. When I was a stranger you welcomed me, when I was naked you clothed me.
You took care of me when I was sick, and visited me when I was in prison.¡±

9

The people on the right who heard Jesus' words were amazed and asked Jesus questions.
¡°Lord, we have never given you food when you were hungry, and we have never given you water when you were thirsty. Also, we never received you warmly when you were a stranger, nor did we see you naked and clothed you. We never came to help you when you were sick or when you were in prison.¡±
They told Jesus that they had never done anything like that to Him.

10

Jesus told them a wonderful secret. ¡°What you did to the weak, the sick, and the poor around you while living in the world is what you did to me.¡±
Jesus told them that they did to Jesus what they did to help the weak and difficult people around them.

11

After giving a great reward to those on the right, Jesus said to those on the left.

[Cursed ones! Get away from me and enter the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his minions.]

Unlike those on the right, Jesus inflicted terrible punishment on those on the left.

12

Jesus went on to explain why they were being punished this way.

¡°You gave me nothing when I was hungry. You gave me nothing to drink when I was thirsty.
You did not receive me warmly when I was a stranger, and you did not clothe me when I was naked. When I was sick or in prison, you did not take care of me.¡±

13

The people on the left who heard this were also amazed and said to Jesus,

¡°Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison and did not take care of you?¡±

Those who stood on the left said that Jesus had never appeared in front of them in such a way in their lives.

14

Jesus spoke to them.

¡°I tell you the truth. Whatever you did not do to the little one of these people, you did not do to me.¡±

Jesus said that they pretended not to know Jesus when they did not help those around them who needed their help in the world.

15

After Jesus judges, rewards and punishments are executed according to His words.
The wicked who stand on the left, cursed by Jesus, will receive eternal punishment.
On the other hand, the righteous who were praised by Jesus directly said that they would gain eternal life and live in the kingdom of God prepared by God.

On the day Jesus returns, everyone in this world will be judged according to what they have done.

16

When Jesus was on this earth, he set an example ahead of time. He was with weak people whom people looked down on. He preached the gospel of the kingdom to people whom people dismissed as sinners and was with them.
The righteous standing on the right received glory on the last day by practicing the love Jesus had for their neighbors.

17

Anyone who believes in Jesus with a true heart and is saved will receive the same blessing as the person standing on the right. When we receive the grace of true salvation, the Holy Spirit helps us to show love to our neighbors by becoming like Jesus.
The Holy Spirit makes us realize that when we see someone who needs our help, he is Jesus.
When we practice the love of Jesus to others, a beautiful world that God rejoices opens.
We must more actively practice the love of Jesus to our neighbors and become people of faith who receive great praise when the Lord comes.
