prison

Bible verse : Acts 16:25-26
(NIV)
About midnight Paul and Silas were praying
and singing hymns to God, and the other prisoners were listening to them.
Suddenly
there was such a violent earthquake that the foundations of the prison were
shaken.
At
once all the prison doors flew open, and everybody's chains came loose.

Paul has traveled to many
lands to testify to Jesus and preach the gospel.
God led Paul this time to a Philippian
place.
4
Paul also accompanied a man named Sila. Paul went to
the river and preached the gospel to the women there. God has opened the
heart of a woman named Lydia.
5
Lydia and his whole family were all baptized and
baptized. In addition, Lydia provided Paul and Silas to stay in his home.
6
One day, Paul and Silas were looking for a place to
pray. They met a ghost woman on the way. This woman was a person who made
money for the owner for predicting the future.
7
This ghost woman shouted loudly as she followed Paul
and Silas.
¡°These people are the highest servants
of God. These people are preaching the way of salvation.¡± The ghost was
ridiculing Paul and Silas through the mouth of this female slave.
8
This woman
bothered them with the same loud sound as long as she met Paul and Silas for
a few days.
Paul
continued to endure and decided to chase ghosts from this female slave.
Paul
shouted greatly towards the ghost in the female slave.
¡°I command you in the name of Jesus Christ. It comes
from this woman.¡±
9
It was
scary that Paul's words fell, and the ghost came out of the female slave.
She just made her noisy, she was now clean. It was a
good thing for Paul and Silas to heal a ghost woman slave, but this was a big
problem.
10
The owners of the ghost female slaves foreseeing the
future were angry.
They arrested Paul and Silas and took
them to officials in the square.
¡°These people are coming to our city and
making a turmoil.¡±
11
¡°These people
are promoting strange words that we are unacceptable as Roman citizens.¡± All
the people around them shouted at Paul and Silas and sympathized with their
words.
12
The Roman officials who heard this torn the clothes
of Paul and Silas. And they started to hit them. Paul and Sila were badly hit
without any mistake.
13
Roman
officials hit Paul and Silas and put them in jail.
Roman
officials even filled their feet to prevent them from running away.
Paul and Silas were trapped in prison
without any sin.
14
But Paul
and Silas were not disappointed or sad because of them.
Rather, they prayed to God
there. Also, they sang hymns for God.
They praised the other prisoners there
so loudly.
15
When Paul
and Silas prayed and praised God, there was a big earthquake that suddenly
shakes even prison. At that time, the prison door opened.
The miracle of all the chains that were tied to Paul
and Silas also occurred.
16
Paul and Silas did a good job to heal a ghost woman
slave, but because of them, they had been difficult to get in jail. But until
the end, they believed that God knew all the facts and showed the courageous
faith of praying and praise in prison without losing faith.
17
Those who
believe in Jesus and become children of God must have faith in acting like
Paul and Silas, even if they do good things and meet difficult problems.
We must
believe that God will protect us until the end and be a true believer who
seeks God's help with prayer and praise in no matter how difficult
environments.
