Title

1

Here am I, send me!

2

Bible verse : Isaiah 6:8Àý (NIV)

Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, "Whom shall I send?
And who will go for us?" And I said, "Here am I. Send me!"

3

This happened in the year that King Uzziah, who ruled over Judah, died. This happened to a man named Isaiah.

4

Isaiah was the scribe who recorded all the affairs of King Uzziah.

After the death of King Uzziah, he worried about the country and was praying in the temple of God in sorrow.

Isaiah was a man who truly loved his country.

5

An amazing sight happened to Isaiah.

Before his eyes the heavens were opened and he saw God sitting on a high throne.

The hem of the robe of God who sat on the throne filled the temple where Isaiah was sitting.

6

Above the throne on which God was sitting stood angels called seraphim.

The seraphs each had six wings.

7

These seraphs covered their eyes with two wings.

And they covered their feet with two wings.

And it flew with the other two wings.

8

The sound of these seraphs made the doorstep shake.

And the inside of the temple was filled with smoke.
When Isaiah saw this, he was very surprised.

9

Isaiah cried out in fear because he had seen God.

¡°I am a very ugly and filthy person, but I have seen the LORD Almighty God with my own eyes, and now I am ruined. A great calamity will befall me.¡±

10

While Isaiah was afraid, one of the seraphim took out hot coals from the altar with fire tongs and flew to Isaiah holding them in his hand.

Then he put the charcoal to Isaiah's mouth.

11

The seraphim, who placed hot charcoals in Isaiah's mouth, said,

¡°Now that this charcoal has touched your lips, now all your sins are gone and you are forgiven.¡±

God forgave all of Isaiah's sins.

12

After receiving the remission of sins, Isaiah's ears began to hear God's voice. God has spoken.

¡°Whom shall I send? Who will go to these people for me?¡±

God was looking for people to work for Him.

13

When Isaiah heard these words, he did not hesitate to speak.

¡°Here am I, Send me.¡± Isaiah answered God¡¯s call.

14

God told Isaiah what to do.

¡°You go to the people and turn a deaf ear to my words, and tell those who are sinning that I will judge them for their wrongdoing.

But I will wait until they repent and return, and I will restore them again.¡±

15

God did not judge Judah to destroy Judah.

It was a heart of great love that wanted the people of Judah to return to God.

God called Isaiah today to convey that heart through Isaiah.

16

Isaiah was called by God that day and became a prophet.

From that day on, Isaiah obeyed God's words for 60 years.

He lived as a prophet to the people.

17

God is looking for people of faith like Isaiah today.

He says, ¡°Who will go for me?¡±

Like Isaiah, in this word of God, ¡°Here am I, Please let me go.¡± Like Isaiah, who responded to God's call, I hope that all of our friends will spread God's love to the whole world.

18

God raised Jeroboam, who was not qualified, as the first king of Northern Israel.
Jeroboam failed to do as God commanded. He ignored the fact that God, who had made him king, was the only one who would keep the position, and thought that his family would be able to rule for a long time as long as the northern Israelites were not allowed to go down to Judah, so he made idols in Bethel and Dan. It is. However, because of this sin, his family was completely destroyed.

We must not fall into the sins of Jeroboam. We must not forget the grace of God who saved us who did not deserve salvation. And we must believe that God is the one who will make us prosper on this earth, and we must strive to keep the Word of God and do it.
Then God will exalt us like King David and raise us up as great figures of faith.
