Title

1

Our Father in heaven!

2

Bible verse : Matthew 6:9(NIV)
"This, then, is how you should pray: "'Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name,

3

The prayer that Jesus himself taught is called the Lord¡¯s Prayer.

Jesus said, ¡°Pray like this!¡± and told us who we should pray to first.

4

Our Father in heaven] Jesus told us to pray to our Father in heaven.

Jesus tells us that we must pray to God the Father, who is our Father in heaven.

5

No matter how good our prayers are, if we do not pray to God in heaven, our prayers will not be answered. This means that no matter how long we pray,

if we do not pray to God in heaven, our prayers will not be answered.

6

So why does God answer our prayers? That is because God is our Father.
[Because you are sons, God sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, the Spirit who calls out, "Abba, Father." (Galatians 4:6)]
The moment we believe in Jesus and are saved, we become special beings who can call God our Father.

7

Jesus said that it is natural for God, our Father in heaven, to listen to the prayers of us, his children. Jesus said that God, our Father, already knows what we need before we even pray.
[...for your Father knows what you need before you ask him.(Matthew 6:8)]

8

God, our Father in heaven, knows what we, his children, need just as parents know their children¡¯s needs. In fact, God knows me much better than I do.

So when we pray to Heavenly Father, God gives us something much better than what we need.

9

There is another important reason why we must pray to God the Father in heaven to receive answers.

That is because our Father God is fully capable of giving me everything I need.

10

Among the Old Testament prophets, there was the prophet Elijah.

The prophet Elijah once had a prayer competition with 450 prophets of Baal on     Mount Carmel. The competition involved building an altar to his god, praying,     and sending fire down from the sky to burn the altar. They competed for their     lives to prove that the god who burned the fire on the altar was the real god.

11

The prophets of Baal prayed hard from morning to day, calling on the name of ¡®Baal¡¯, which they said was their god, not the God in heaven.

But 'Baal' did not answer their prayers.

So they prayed while bleeding all over their bodies.

However, 'Baal' could not bring down fire from the sky.

12

It was the order of the prophet Elijah. The prophet Elijah prayed, calling on the name of God in heaven.
[...the prophet Elijah stepped forward and prayed: "O LORD, God of Abraham, Isaac and Israel, let it be known today that you are God in Israel and that I am your servant and have done all these things at your command. (1 Kings 18: 36)]

13

After the prayer was finished, the fire of Jehovah God came down from heaven and consumed everything on the altar, even drying up the water in the ditch. When the people saw this, they saw how powerful God was and fell to the ground and called out his name.

14

There is another reason why Jesus tells us to pray to God the Father in heaven.

Jesus himself told us that God is faithful and will never leave us and is always with us.
[The one who sent me is with me; he has not left me alone, for I always do what pleases him. (John 8:29)]

15

Jacob deceived his father Isaac and stole his older brother Esau's birthright, so he secretly ran away from Esau. While he was running away, he picked up a stone at a place called Bethel and used it as a pillow to sleep on. In Jacob's dream, he saw a staircase reaching up to heaven, and angels were walking up and down the staircase. God appeared in the sky at the very end of the ladder.

16

God made a great promise to Jacob and told him that he would always be with him and would never leave him. Jacob woke up and confessed:
[When Jacob awoke from his sleep, he thought, "Surely the LORD is in this place, and I was not aware of it." (Genesis 28:16)]
The God who is with Jesus and the God who is with Jacob will not leave us and will protect us until the end, so we must pray to God the Father in heaven.

17

When we pray, we must pray to God, our Father in heaven, as Jesus taught us.

God, our Father in heaven, knows everything we need and answers us.

God, our Father in heaven, answers our prayers with ample power.

God, our Father in heaven, never leaves us and always answers our prayers.

I hope that all my friends will pray and call on the name of God, our Father in      heaven, and receive answers from God.
